|7.JIREUGI = PUNCHING
|When jireugi is performed, the fist will start at the waist and will be go straight tot he target.
|This technique can be performed with Ap-Joomeok, Pyon-Joomeok and Bam-Joomeok.
|There are several possibilities as it comes to the direction of the punch:
|To the front (reversed tot he back leg) punch 1
|Tot the front (equal tot he back leg) punch 1
|Sideway punch 7
|Circling punch (at the end of the movement, teh arm has an angle of 90 degrees)
|Punch backward (over the shoulder)
|Downward punch (f.i. towards the fallen opponent)
|Upward punch with Jeochyo Joomeok 8
|P.S. When performing puches tot he front instead of Oen and Oreun (left and right punch), the indications Bandae and Baro are used.
|Furthermote, ther are differences int he shape of the fist:
|Reversed fist (back of the hand down) 7
|Horizontal fist (back of the hand up)
|P.S. When the punch is performed with ‘Ap-Joomeok’, the indication ‘Ap-Joomeok’ is not used. Also the indication “Eopeun” is not used.
